Kennedy lived 40 years longer than Mary Jo Kopechne.
Had Mary Jo Kopechne lived she would be 69 years of age.

Kennedy left the scene of an auto accident involving a fatality. There has been speculation for the last 40 years regarding Kennedy’s condition at the time of the accident and why he left (abandoned) a 29 year old woman to drown in that car. The kind of political power wielded in the days that followed this incident has left many wondering why the “lion of the Senate” is revered, respected, and now showered with the incredible accolades now presented on literally all main stream media outlets.
