The 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment’s new Mechanized Infantry Battalion will be set to use hybrid threat warfare on rotational training units in the near future. Hybrid threat warfare will employ conventional military assets with insurgency operations.
A visually-modified M113 rolls through the High Mojave Desert at the National Training Center on Fort Irwin, Calif. The 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment’s visually-modified vehicles will once again be employed during force-on-force combat training. The vehicles will be used as part of hybrid threat warfare which uses both conventional military assets as well as insurgency operations.
