FLASH > UPDATE TO THE DANGEROUS WEATHER CONDITIONS NOW PREVALENT ON LONG ISLAND.

15 July 2009 - 3:30 PM - the heat is causing people to drop like flies. Who knows when this beastly weather will end. The National Weather Service reports that the current temperature of 77 degrees, humidity at 43% may last to the end of the month. Holy Mackeral….how can we last?

It seems that once again the the fear of Global Warming is finally bearing out as many Long Islanders are finding it difficult to deal with the intense temperatures and high humidity. One can only guess how the electric bills will be effected with the use of air conditioners during this awful summer. This terrible weather is sure to threaten the stability of local governments - - - - - I have an idea to remedy the situation….we can all volunteer to pay more taxes so that our elected officials can sleep better at night. Excellent!

Right now the heat is unbearable at 68 degrees, humidity at 50% - sunny cloudless sky. Night time requires a light blanket in order to sleep comfortably, since the window that usually contains an air conditioner remains open to the heat (60 degrees) of the night. I’m lowering my carbon foot print so that I will be accepted in the new society that Al Gore will profit from….thank God for that!!

I expect that all of those Polar Bears that are stuck on the ice flows will wind up landing on Jones Beach and taking over the concession stands. WHAT WILL WE DO? The poor things may get sunburned!!

If you’re like me, you can’t wait for Carbon Credits legislation (read article here) to be passed in both houses of Congress so that we can do our patriotic duty and pay more taxes (actually be taxed to death).

Are we all ready to accept our new role as the world’s leading failed socialist economy? An economy changed to a HUGE government left wing nanny state in less than six months? Bush started it and Obama will finish it.

Wow……..aren’t we all happy?
