USCG Helps Out James River, North Dakota

U.S. Coast Guard Boatswain’s Mate 1st Class Al Monterroza transits the James River in North Dakota April 15, 2009, after a sortie to possibly evacuate Navy Sailors from a submarine communication tower in LaMoure, N.D. Monterroza and another two-person crew from Sector Upper Mississippi River’s disaster area response team arrived in Fargo, N.D., April 11, 2009, with several airboat crews comprised of Coast Guardsmen and members of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to assist flood-prone communities along the Red River.
