“F**K The Troops” - - Opinion From The Left.

When I got up the morning, I made my coffee, let the dogs out and started up my laptop in order to do the usual things I do every morning. Bank balance, libNOT and email. Except this morning was different when I got to my email. I always read emails from family first, since having three sons in the US Army, emails from one of them takes precedence over my two older kids. I know they understand.

My youngest son PKM, a recent contributer to libnot, a SSGT, SF 5th Group soldier sent a link to me with the following, very apt description of the horrific article that I write about here this evening.

Vile as it is, read the whole thing. This, in all it’s naked hatred, is precisely the sentiment that many on the Left hold, though they refrain from expressing it so as to retain some modicum of respectability. And for those to whom the thought does not come immediately to mind: the “fools” so despised by this author are the men and women who have fought and died for over two hundred years to secure the First Amendment rights that allow his publication to even exist.

After reading the junk that was in the article, F**k The Troops, written by someone named, Ian Murphy from the blog, The Beast – America’s Best Friend I wrote back to my son and said that he pretty much ruined my day. I guess maybe I live a sheltered life…I thought only fellow Viet Nam veterans experienced the kind of hatred expressed in Murphy’s piece, but now I know there must be that same crew of “Kerry-ites” hatched from the same rotten egg of low-life’s from the 60’s and 70’s that are resurrected to spew their filth for today. There aren’t too many quotes that are clean enough (as per our policy) to copy here, but I’ll try one. The following is the opening line of Murphy’s diatribe.

So, 4000 rubes are dead. Cry me the Tigris. Another 30,000 have been seriously wounded. Boo f*****g hoo. They got what they asked for—and cool robotic limbs, too.

Here’s another gem by Murphy:

As a society, we need to discard our blind deference to military service. There’s nothing admirable about volunteering to murder people. There’s nothing admirable about being rooked by obvious propaganda. There’s nothing admirable about doing what you’re told if what you’re told to do is terrible.

So now you get the point. As my son said, “vial – naked hatred.” Please read the rest of the article HERE, if for no other reason, but to know what’s really on the mind of many on the left. Good God these people make me sick to my stomach.

    Snoop posted on this yesterday and you’re right, it’s entirely nauseating. Be careful navigating this guy’s site, though–according to Snoop, clicking on various, random buttons unleashes a virus to your computer.

    Thank you for making this known. Retards like this don’t deserve the freedoms they use to spew such hate. Like you, I thought the country had moved beyond this after the way they did us coming home from Viet Nam. Obviously not.

    Morons like this will rue the day they disparaged the Troops if they ever need them. I only hope they call on a war protester for protection should they ever need it. Leave the Troops they hate so much alone.

    I missed Snoop’s post - and navigating around that site made me feel like I was viewing pornography, so going elsewhere on that site wasn’t in the cards.

    As commenter Lew Waters described just above…calling them morons - I have a much better name, although not printable herein.

    Crack pots like these have been in every war, excuse not actually in the war, that’s too dangerous, but flapping their traps about whichever war it is.
    These parasites enjoy the freedoms that our military provides and then thrash the people who provide protection, what ****!! Yes, I know last was pretty close to Jack Nicholson’s movie speech, but it’s right on the head. It’s not that they don’t want to be in military, we don’t want them there. What would our brave soldiers want with wimpy little piss ant like the one above. Answer… nothing I prefer to read, listen and watch things promoting our military, heck I guess it’s the patriot in me. I do, however, understand knowing your enemy and this twit is definitely the enemy.
