What is going on in this country? A middle school honor student, who was also the vice-president of the student council, was suspended for 3 days after buying skittles from a school mate.

He wasn’t buying drugs. He wasn’t buying a gun. He wasn’t buying a knife. He was buying CANDY!

Michael Sheridan also was stripped of his title as class vice-president, barred from attending an honours student dinner and suspended for a day after buying a bag of Skittles last month from a classmate.

This is exactly what is wrong with our country. Schools and School administrators trying to tell us how to raise our children. Telling us what our children should eat. Next, schools will be telling our children that they should report their parents for letting their kids eat cupcakes!

This is just another example of government intruding on our private lives. Where does it end?
