Iraqi citizens march together while playing music during a Peace March in the Karkh District of Baghdad, Dec. 19. Approximately 1,000 Iraqi citizens, both of Shia and Sunni religions, gathered to march amongst one another to bring the two sects together as one.

Progress as described in this post and the one before it is absolutely huge, since any military progress must be accompanied by community reconciliation and forgiveness. It’s certainly a step in the right direction.

This good news must be making liberals everywhere feel like the “Iraq peace Grinch” is stealing Christmas….er, I mean the Holiday Celebration.
