Oklahoma today passed the toughest law in the Union on illegal immigration. This is THE law that hopefully will be a domino effect for the rest of the nation. This is THE law that will start to drive these people back home. Hopefully. Unless of course, they go to New York to get a driver’s license and then they can really drive home! Quoting one of our favorite liberal websites, Voice of America, here is the guts of the law. Please, no tears for the illegals!

The state of Oklahoma has begun implementing a new law that is described as the toughest in the nation against illegal immigrants. Supporters of the law say it will reduce crime and curb use of taxpayer funded services by people who have no right to be in the United States. But Latino groups, joined by civil rights groups and churches say the new law is fostering discrimination. VOA’s Greg Flakus has more in this report from Houston.

The new law makes it illegal to hire, transport or house an illegal immigrant and authorizes police in Oklahoma to assist federal immigration authorities in enforcing U.S. immigration law. The law also denies state services to undocumented aliens and imposes penalties on employers who hire them.

The sponsor of state legislative bill 1804, State Representative Randy Terrill, a Republican from Moore, Oklahoma, says the new law will save the state money and help fight crime and potential terrorist threats.

“Having 12 to 20 million illegal aliens and we don’t have a clue as to who they are and what they are doing, it is clearly a national security threat. In addition to that, it contributes to all sorts of other problems like crime and gangs and drugs and narco-trafficking,” said Terrill. “Even our Bureau of Narcotics here in Oklahoma estimates that something in excess of 40 percent of the drug trafficking through Oklahoma is directly attributable to our illegal alien problem.”

The libs are crying because they are trying to bring the illegals out of the “darkness”. Uh, hello….they are ILLEGAL!

Hopefully, this new Oklahoma law will be the start of other states passing their own laws on this whole illegal immigration debacle. We can only hope!

i believe we are making way to much of illegal aliens being in our country, the thing is that everyone keeps saying that they are criminals yes i understand that but i would rather be in the same room with a illegal residnt than a rapist or killer or someone in that criminal area, the thing is that i believe that we should feel honored, they chose a country that they could start a new life in , and it just happened to be ours. alot of people say that they could have gone somewhere else i believe that those are the people that are racist or just don’t have any sense. i also think that there are alot of good mexicans out there just because afew do stupid things to get themselfs in trouble you want to cast judgement on the whole entire race, these are the people that probably got everything handed
to them on a silver platter, while mexicans had to work very hard just to put food on the table to feed their families. remember also, that mexicans are also the ones that take our crappy jobs that we refuse to do for very low pay..so next time people are very judgemental on illegals i would advise you to drive past a field or even your closest mc. donalds and ask yourself while i am sitting here complaining about them taking our jobs , would i be doing what they are for low pay and for 10 hours aday everyday, i bet your answer would be no….

    To Malissa Mendoza,

Yes, they ARE criminals because they broke the law when they crossed into this country illegally. Just because their crime wasn’t violent doesn’t make them any less a criminal. I have nothing against immigrants coming to live and work in our country provided they take the LEGAL steps necessary to do so. But illegal immigrants don’t bother - they just sneak across our borders like cockroaches. We aren’t being racist toward the entire Mexican race, we just don’t like the ones who enter our country ILLEGALLY. If you want to come here to start your new life, do so through the proper channels.

And as far as the low paying jobs go, I work as a housekeeper during the day and at a fast food restaurant at night working almost 75 hours a week, literally seven days a week. No one hands me anything and I work damn hard for low pay. Mexicans aren’t the only ones who have to work hard to put food on the table for their families, there are plenty of Americans in the same boat.

Got something to say?
