This whole scandal with Sandy Berger will just not go away. Now it turns out that he hasn’t taken a polygraph test, which was part of his plea deal. The polygraph was supposed to tell officials from the Justice Department whether or not Sandy Berger stole anything else from the National Archives or the papers he got caught with were the only papers he stole.

Sandy Berger (search) pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor in federal court. Berger, who served as President Clinton’s national security adviser, is acknowledging that it wasn’t an honest mistake and that he intentionally took and destroyed copies of classified documents from the National Archives (search) and cut them up with scissors.

Berger acknowledged to U.S. Magistrate Deborah Robinson that he intentionally took and deliberately destroyed three copies of the same document dealing with terror threats during the 2000 millennium (search) celebration. He then lied about it to Archives staff when they told him the documents were missing.

“Guilty, your honor,” Berger responded when asked how he pleaded.

This sick part of this whole thing is that Hillary Clinton is taking advice from this buffoon. This is yet another reason why the country will be deeply hurt if she wins the election next year.

Where is the President on this? Actually, where is the President on a lot of things these days? He’s turning out to not be the man I once thought he was, which is unfortunate. President Bush talks a good talk, but, it seems as if his walk is quite wobbly.
