Ahmadinejad going to NYC to speak to the U.N

The Iranian President Ahmadinejad is going to be addressing the U.N.General Assembly this week on the way to see his other buddy Chavez in Venezuela. He’s staying in New York for 2 days.

He’s really a little nuts. In 2005, when he was addressing the U.N, he thought he had “divine supervision”:

Ahmadinejad is a devout Shiite Muslims, and had felt that he was accompanied by divine supervision during at least one of his previous visits to New York.

Following his first visit on September 2005, he told one of Iran’s radical clerics that during his speech at the UN someone had told him that he was “surrounded by a divine halo” and that the attention of all the world’s leaders was focused on him.

Ahmadinejad had said at the time, “I also felt that, and I sensed that the atmosphere had suddenly changed and that all the leaders did not even blink for about 27 or 28 minutes, and I’m not exaggerating.”

I can’t believe that the U.N is allowing this dangerous guy to speak to them again. Ahmadinejad visits the U.N. just to stick it to the United States, because he can come here and leave even though he hates us so much and he would love to wipe us off the face of the earth. Hopefully the people of Iran will have enough of the extremist Islamic government someday so that they can join the world again as they would like. The Iranian’s are good people that seek freedom. Their radical government is not.
