Great interview with Lt. Col. Ralph Peters, who just came back from Iraq. Col. Peters comments on the ridiculous statements that Chuck Schumer made this past week on the progress of the surge and about the positive news about violence coming out of the Anbar Province where the Sunnis have take up arms against Al-Qaeda. Some of Schumer’s unbelievably reckless statements include:

And let me be clear: the violence in Anbar has gone down despite the surge, not because of the surge.

The statement “despite the surge” says all you need to know about Schumer and his Democrat buddies. They will do and say anything at all to put down progress in Iraq. They know that anything positive will be the end of them. They want us to lose. They want us to leave with our tail between our legs. They want us to give up.
