President Bush compared to some other wartime Presidents

Found a great post on Milblogs comparing President Bush to some other wartime Presidents in visiting our troops:

How many times did Roosevelt visit the front lines in WWII?
Zero.
How many times did Wilson visit troops in the trenches in the Ardennes?
Zero.
How many times did Johnson go to Vietnam?
Zero.
How many times did Clinton go to Bosnia?
Zero, Nada

How many times has Bush visited the troops in Iraq?
3

President Bush is far from perfect. But, he is a good man and I do believe history will look kindly upon him unlike some other Presidents.

Sorry Marge - you are certainly entitled to your opinion as I too am a disabled vet from the Vietnam War.

I'm so angry at George Bush on so many different levels that i can't even think straight, but....he did fulfill his military obligation (unless you think that being in the Guard or Reserves isn't good enough) and visiting the troops three times means a lot!!!

Don't let your ideology get in the way for what's right.

"put him in a Humvee and let him dodge some IED’s." Is a pretty shallow statement.

Bush never fulfilled his military obligation...I don't care if he visited Iraq 3 times ...put him in a Humvee and let him dodge some IED's.
