DeLay Blasts Lauer on Craig Coverage
August 31, 2007
Biased liberal, left-wing media? Nooooooooo. How could we ever think such a thing?
In a heated discussion stemming from the Sen. Larry Craig arrest, former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay blasted “Today” show host Matt Lauer for the media’s “amazing” double standard regarding GOP and Democratic scandals.
Lauer prefaced DeLay’s Thursday morning appearance on the NBC program by reciting a litany of recent Republican problems, mentioning Rep. Mark Foley and Jack Abramoff among others.
DeLay responded: “I hate to say this Matt, but you just showed the problem, the double standard, and you just participated in it. You listed a whole lot of scandals that involve the Republicans, but you didn’t mention one Democrat…

FEC Fines Soros-backed ACT $775,000
August 31, 2007
LibNOT.com gets that old familiar sick feeling in the pit of his stomach when George Soros’ name pops up anytime politics, money, PACS and influence is involved. This man; who purportedly hates America, our military and anyone to the right of Lenin is despised by many and unfortunately respected by many in the liberal extremist ranks of the Democrat Party.
WASHINGTON — An independent political group allied with Democrats and heavily bankrolled by billionaire George Soros has agreed to pay $775,000 to the Federal Election commission for violating campaign laws during the 2004 presidential campaign.
The civil penalty, announced Wednesday, is the third largest fine ever levied by the FEC.
The group, America Coming Together, was an influential player in the 2004 election cycle, spending millions of dollars to mobilize voters in support of Democrats in key states.

Patriot Post: Hillary’s dirty money
August 31, 2007
After reading the article below at The Patriot Post, libNOT.com’s staff decided it appropriate to starting singing that old Barbra Streisand hit, “Memories!” Was it Bill or Hillary that had past contributer problems….maybe it was both?! It’s downright amazing that Ms. Streisand, that articulate fiction writer for the extreme left, will be connected to Ms. Hillary via song lyrics.
They’re both so cute, aren’t they?
The campaign of Hillary Clinton, the presidential candidate just endorsed by Communist dictator Fidel Castro, turned over $23,000 in campaign donations to charity this week after learning that the donor of the money, Norman Hsu, has a warrant out for his arrest that dates back to the 1990s. Hsu was arrested in 1991 for collecting $1 million from investors for a contract that didn’t exist. (Hsu’s lawyer says his client doesn’t recall pleading no contest to grand theft, or being obliged to serve three years’ prison time. How convenient.) While he’s been on the lam, Hsu has been one of Clinton’s biggest fundraisers and contributors. The FEC reports Hsu has given $119,000 since 2004, but there is sure to be much more money with his fingerprints on it.
The Wall Street Journal found that Hsu might have been circumventing legal limits by donating cash under other names. A family living in a “working-class” neighborhood outside of San Francisco has donated $45,000 to Clinton in the last two years. The level of their donations clearly does not match the 64-year-old father’s $49,000 annual income as a letter carrier. (It reminds one of Al Gore’s “no controlling legal authority” trip to a Buddhist temple in 1996, at which he raked in plenty of cash laundered by one John Huang.) Documents are likely to prove that Hsu, who once listed that modest house as an address, donated the money under the family name.

Iran is getting bolder and bolder on Iraq
August 30, 2007
First, after President Bush stated Tuesday that he had ordered his Generals to FINALLY start to confront Iran on their “murderous activities” in Iraq.
Iran had this to say today:
Iran on Thursday dismissed US President George W. Bush’s allegations of its interference in Iraq as “undocumented” and a sign of “political despair,” local news agencies reported.
“Bush’s statements lack any new and documented points and are a sign of indecision, lack of wisdom and political despair,” Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said, quoted by the semi-official Mehr news agency.Tuesday President Bush demanded that Iran end it’s support for the extremists in Iraq and said he had ordered military chiefs in Iraq to confront Iran’s “murderous activities.”
“The US president faces serious problem in creating propaganda for the next election and thinks he can find a way out these problems by unfounded words,” Mottaki said.
Recently it has been revealed that Iran has been shelling Northern Iraq for weeks. The Iraqi government has asked Iran to stop the shelling, but, so far Iran has not stopped.
Iraqi Kurdish officials have complained about cross-border shelling since mid-August. Cross-border skirmishes also occasionally occur as Iraq’s neighbors Turkey and Iran battle Kurdish separatist rebels operating from bases in Iraq’s mountainous northeastern region of Kurdistan.
“On the 28th of this month we summoned the Iranian ambassador and delivered a memorandum about shelling across the Iraqi border. We called at that time for Iran to immediately halt this operation because it is harming relations between the two countries,” Zebari told a news conference.
It will get more and more interesting with this terrorist nation in the near future. If their government is not toppled from within, something will have to be done about this IslamaFacist regime that has been running Iran since 1979.
